Mavic E-Deemax Freehub removal

Cracked a rim and ordered new rear wheel. It has come today but I’ve been sent HG instead of XD I ordered. Going to Wales on Friday so no time to exchange. I want to take my XD freehub body from my old wheel and put it on new one. I cannot work out how to remove the freehub body. Anyone got any experience with these wheels?

both should be just a matter of removing the end cap and pulling the HG or XD freehub off. Usually the easiest way to remove the end cap is to grip it in soft jaws of a vice and applying a little upward pressure on one side of the wheel, give the other side a tap upwards with your hand.
