Loam shelf Orbea Wild M-Team

Hey gurus, has anyone come up with (or even had a problem with) stones falling into the gap on the loam shelf on the Orb Wild? I have a turbo Levo and Spesh modified a plastic shelf to eliminate crap from falling into the gap. But has anyone come up with a solution for the Orb, other than attaching a big mud guard?

Heavy duty Velcro and a piece of tube, works perfect.

depending on the debris that gets trapped, can lock the swing arm.... also in alloy frames
