The problem with the 6V supply from a lot of motors is the low amp output as well, so you'll never get a lamp to produce a decent Lm output. I think the max I've seen is about 1250Lm, which is fine for steady ride along a decent trail but IME I've added 2 extra lamps with their own battery supply to allow a decent output for faster night riding off piste. The problem with this solution is trying to manage the Lm outputs or batteries to ensure they last longer than your expected ride time.

My personal setup on my Yamaha powered Haibike (6v as well) is a Lezyne 500lm ebike Microdrive hardwired into the bike and 2 Lezyne Megadrive 1800i with remote battery packs.
I like these lights as you can amend the number of brightness settings via an app to avoid cycling through the options by repeated button pushing and the extra battery capacity. But of course YMMV.
