Light eMTB v regular MTB

I see a lot of videos comparing Light eMTB (Levo SL turbo) v other eMTB‘s (Turbo Levo), but is there much comparing Light eMTB’s v regular MTB’s? I think the light eMTB might give enough of a boost on my trails, but I’d love to see a real comparison between them.

Anyone have any links?

I've seen a few vids on YouTube on the topic. May not have been specifically the SL or similar but there are comparisons between the two.

Some SL video's I did watch compared the two, but not in any sorta scientific way.

I can say my SL is much, much more similar than my full powered Haibike was.

A levo SL/Orbea Rise/E-Zesty etc will still smoke a regular bike up hill, and will feel far more like a regular bike everywhere else, mainly due to the weight.

They have more than enough assistance so to speak, really they are more like riding a normal bike with you putting a bit less effort in.

However if you are riding one in a group of people riding regular EMTB's you will potentially struggle to keep up depending on your fitness. Thats really the only downside to them, aside from the lack of much choice within the segment though that is rapidly changing.

Heres an Italian vid with some side by side telemetry .

Hi, Makes sense. I managed to auto-translate most of what they said and it makes sense.
