LEVO turbo tyre choice

Has anyone fitted a narrower 2.4 front tyre to a LEVO Turbo FSR? I want a soft compound Michelin ‘Magi’ Enduro 29’er but they only make it in 2.4. Stock size for my Butchers are 2.6 up front. Will it make much difference? Michy do make a 2.6 width but only in the GUM-X compound which is harder.

I run Michelin Wild front and back in 2.4. I find 2.6. a bit "vague". In summer I run 2.3 Eliminators. I think 2.6 might be better for rocky terrain or long distance riding just from the point of view of comfort and rim protection.

Same here (although, my levo is a 2018 model). I would say, pick your tyres subject to your trails, riding style and season. But having said that, you can't really go wrong with most tyres nower days from Schwalbe, Maxxis, Michelin and Vittoria ?

Thanks for your input guys. I bought 2.6 Wild-E yesterday, chucked it on and hit the trails at Cwmcarn. Seems gripper than the Eliminator but like you say a bit ‘vague’. I’ll try 2.4 next time; see if it sharpens up the handling?
