On the levo comp they fit a Gx one push one gear shifter but on all the models above they fit a normal rear shifter, anyone know why they do that.? And does anyone with the higher models have any problem with gear shifting?

They did this on the 2018 models, all the 2017 models have a normal shifter, by normal i mean you can change more than one gear at a time

I reckon its because SRAM introduced an EMTB specific shifter that limits drivetrain wear by only allowing a single shift at a time, and that being only the GX range that it’s currently available in.

I have both and it doesn’t make much difference either way to how I ride, or even bother me, you get used to it quickly.

To add to the above, I think that its the GX range that have it so anything that has that shifter (Comp Carbon etc) and anything ‘above’ in the line up has regular shifters.
