does anyone know if brose have made any improvements to the motor for reliability ? i bought a base levo in march 19 and would like to upgrade for carbon , /bigger battery , i love the bike but with all the stories it puts me off buying another especially as no good bike shops near me , although my motor ok till now I've had lots of cable and water ingress issues , surely spesh would have looked at these problems by now or are they still churning bikes out with same problems ?

The 2020 is just the same motor wise, apparently they changed the belt in them, I know lads who’ve still had troubles and mate in lbs said the new cable seems to be holding up better, but everything else is just the same. A good lbs is a must.

I’d say yes. Specialized confirmed that there will be a Brose in the 2021 bike which may or may not be an updated version. If there was an update I would think it would retro fit the 2019 & 2020 bikes and they would be the warranty replacements used for any claims on the 2.1.
