LCE930 cables

Hey all i’m sure you would all agree that the length of the supplied cables for bafang m820 are very long. Has anyone successfully shortened them to make it easier to fit the motor etc?

I’m not sure if this applies to the Bafang motor. Some of the electrical wiring for the Bosch CX motor were long also. The wires were tucked into the headset area …bundled up to allow variation of external length. There was also bundled up coil in the motor compartment.

I never had to cut the wires …I just coiled them up and safety place them. Small zip ties or electrical tape. I made sure that I didn’t create any stretch on the wire to the controller.

I then addressed the brake and dropper cables to tidy up the cockpit.
