Depends on what you're carrying and how hard you're riding. A decent mirrorless kit will be heavy enough to put me off gnarly riding.

Generally the largest camera I carry is a Sony RX1RII in a bum bag, if RIDING is the main purpose. If I'm using the bike as a means to get to a spot then my normal camera backpack (Gura Gear Kibiko). If I want more protection the a backpack with a camera cell (like the F-Stop system) and some extra padding around the cell. But generally I find these quite unwieldy and uncomfortable. Another option would be the pretty good LowePro Whistler bags which are comfortable on the back and have good gear protection at the cost of a bit of weight.

What are you carrying?
