Lapierre dropper post

I just bought a used eZesty, and the dropper post need some service.
However… it does not seem to be a “normal” shock pump valve.
The threading on the valve is internal?!

Anyone know what kind of adapter I can use? And where to buy it?

Isn't a cartridge? You can't adjust the pressure. Just service the seals and it should be back to normal? GMBN did a video a while back on servicing droppers that might help.

Nah... i´m quite sure it is air adjustable.

I confirme, I have a e-zesty with the same seat post. There is a small bolt on top, remove it and find this kind of valve. But I don't know how to connect a pump to this, it is quite small( around 6 mm diameter), not a classic high pressure valve. Does someone know how to inflate this ? Thank you

You need a shock pump & adapter, like this. It's not clear from the photo exactly what kind but any Lapierre dealer should be ble to tell you & from memory, my Zesty came with a separate manual specifically for the dropper post & if yours does too, it should be easy to identify the dropper model.

The internal diameter seems to be 6mm

I finally succeeded to pump enough air into the dropper post.

• You need this adapter monarch valve adapter : link
• 
• You have to drill it just a bit to let it screw into the dropper, don't go to deep or you won't let it press the valve ( proceed by little steps until it screws)
• apply some teflon ribbon around the threads, if not the air will come out when you pump
• keep the trigger at the bottom of the drop open, put a pen to block it
• push back the dropper piston to the bottom
• screw the adapter first with the teflon
• screw your shock pump on the adapter
• pump, if air is coming out unscrew everything and but more teflon
• at one point the piston will start to go out, around 200 psi
• go on until 300 psi ( maybe more if you can)
• the piston should be completely out
• release the trigger
• carefully unscrew the adapter from the dropper, keep the pump connected to the adapter, if not all the air will go out from the piston
• you will hear air going out but it is ok, this is the air in the pump
• That's it !
