Levo SL Gen 1 Knocking Noise from Motor..ideas?

SL with about 150 miles just started “knocking” when under gentle pedaling forces. Anyone have any ideas what this is? Attaching a link to my video here... Specialized Levo SL Noisy Already

Annoying. Gotta get this fixed. The bike is not good enough (or a good enough deal) for me to forgive shortcomings like this. Guessing you might agree..

Serious note - sounds like something is catching inside the motor, worth taking it back, I’m sure its nothing major bit better to be safe than sorry.

Welp. As everyone has been sayin.. it’s toast Getting a new motor. Just spoke with the warranty rep for the big chain I bought this at. Dropped it off...

Mine's getting motor warranty service as well. Constant whining and occasional knocking noise. LBS filed claim and will call me when the motor is in for replacement. Fingers crossed that it was a defective unit and not a common issue/problem!

Motherfuking assholes.. Bike was in the shop for goddam month. I finally got the call it was done. Took time off work and drove to pick it up.. fucking thing now doesnt even fucking run. I shoulda test rode it. They sure as hell didnt. MIKES BIKES in Berkeley...

EDIT: I should be more patient. Turns out that the tech didn’t perform the sacred ceremony of marrying the new motor to the old controller. They fixed it in 15 minutes..
still cost me a couple hundred bucks of time off work driving in traffic but I’m less annoyed now.

that’s sometjing I’m learning about these Technology bikes... They expressly prohibit one from repairing on one’s own. Locking you in to being bound to a dealer for repairs. Not unlike CANBUS japanese car...I need the VW equivalent Emtb where I can buy computer and do my own fix...

Man I’m hoping the tech just forgot to hooke up a wire or something.
