Kenevo tyre choices..

Hi people with plus size tyres in general.. What pressures are you running? Also has anyone moved to 2.6 and which one and how does it compare? I'm trying to get used to the 2.8 feels a bit wallowy..

Trying 2.6 Magic Mary Soft (orange) addix on the front right now, seems ok but only 2 rides in

I'm hearing good things about the Trail Wide Maxxis range... Minion DHF front and DHR rear or Aggressor rear in 2.5 width.

Not on a Kenevo, but I’ve been experimenting with tyre pressures on my Trek. 2.8” Nobby Nics are horrible over 20psi and positively dangerous at 25. 18psi seems to be the sweet spot so far; decent sidewall support with enough compliance to ride over roots rather than follow them.
I’ll be fitting a 2.6” Mary Mary before the weekend so I’ll have to start again from scratch, but hopefully they’ll offer more wet grip than the NNs.

yes i went from nobby to magic on the haibike, amazing differrence!

I recently picked up a Levo and for the most part love it but was also thinking of running 2.6 to try and get it to feel more like my Stumpy which I run 2.3 Maxxis tires on. good info here.
