Hola,

A few months ago, my bike started having connection issues. It would randomly switch off during rides, but a little wiggle with the main motor-battery cable usually helped. Over time, the problem worsened—it began shutting off on every bigger bump. Then, after a crash, I stopped using it for a few months, and now it won’t turn on at all.

I took it to a Specialized authorized shop, but they told me the best option is to buy a new bike 😞 (the warranty has already expired). They said the cables are completely messed up. Unfortunately, I can’t afford a new bike right now, and living without riding just isn’t an option for me. I can replace cables but dont know which ones and all cables in total would be a big cost.

A friend of mine, who’s an electrician, offered to help and is currently checking every cable. He has one key question: What voltage should be coming from the TCU to the battery cable?

If anyone has a wiring diagram with voltage values, that would be a huge help. Thanks in advance!

That shop sound like a bunch of cowboys (no offence to real cowboys, it’s a Uk expression for conman) ☺️
That issue is common and probably just needs a battery to motor cable not a complete bike !

Didn't know this expression and I will remember it. I like English slang ! I also was surprised by their thesis and think it's bonkers

Toodle pip ! ;)
