Kenevo Boxxer Select Fork - 180mm - C2
I have some questions around setup. Trailhead recommends 154psi and 7 clicks rebound.
I tried various pressures with the standard 2 tokens, but bottomed out a little too frequently for my liking. Went up to 4 tokens.
I found a bit of rooty trail with a jump in it, and rode it over and over with different settings. Tried various pressures from 120psi - 180psi. small bumps with 120 psi felt a lot better, but it was sat a long way down the travel and bottomed out. 180psi was horrible, very bouncy and harsh, but used less travel. In between was obviously a balance, but I couldnt find a sweet spot for harshness/bottoming out.
i have a lyrik on my other bike with charger 2.1 and air side upgrade, and it seems significantly better than the boxxer. I also have a standard lyrik I use whilst servicing, the upgraded fork seems significantly better small bump sensitivity than the standard one.
1. add more tokens, lower pressure
2. add less tokens, higher pressure
3. avalanche damper (£425 + import duty)
4. charger 2.1 damper upgrade (£300)
5. buy boxxer ultimates (£lots)
6. It was manufactured in 2023, perhaps it needs a service (although only used for 1 month from new so far)
Does anyone have any experience of any of the above?

FAQ on rockshox site states that the ultimate needs new lowers to get the low friction bushings.
