Advise welcome and all considered. I have just brought a 2021 kenevo expert Boxxer fork. Wow amazing bike. I am weighing in around 95kg fully kitted including camelback and basics pump multitool ect. Im running 150psi in the fork which is in the ball park for both sag and sram recommendation for weight. I started with the standard 3 volume spacers and continually bottomed out the fork on huck to flat drops and aggressive DH riding I kept adding volume spacers im now up to 6 yes 6 volume spacers . Now the fork has lost its supple feeling on those mid size bumps and hits but does not bottom out. Is there a alternative to finding the sweet spot. Surely im not the only one this has happened too.

Which damper?
Is the damper functional and are you using plenty of damping?
Maybe you need a revalve to help with holding the fork up in its travel better.

Its the standard fitted Boxxer select and yes the damper is working perfectly fine I just can't get it to be as supple as I like of the top with out bottoming it out.

I upgraded to the charger 2.1 damper. It’s a worthwhile upgrade. I come in about 92kg geared up. No issues with the fork at all.

I have heard and read about the 2.1 upgrade. It's not cheap !! Did you bottom the fork out before and how many volume spacers did you run.
It’s not cheap, but neither is the bike, and this changes the whole bike for the better. I had this fitted upon purchase, I run two volume spacers. I was regularly bottoming out on the standard damper on a mate’s Kenevo with a similar PSI.

You are going to need to get the 2.1 Charger...or get the select damper fettled to provide some form of damping (I think there's a place in Germany that deals with the Select damper with reasonable results...or change the damper all together with an Avalanche (this is the one I would do).

Great advice thanks for the tip. Have not heard of Avalanche damper I will read up on it.

I have an avalanche cartridge in a coil boxxer on one of my old DH bikes. It's way better performing than any current boxxer I've ridden.
I'd recommend going to a coil spring at the same time if you go for the Avy cart.
