Kenevo 2019 comp motor

Hi guys I got an upgraded motor on my 2019 kenevo comp. They said it went from a 1.3 to a 1.8. when I got home saw it already had 43 kms on it. Never heard of the 1.8 motor. What do you guys think of it having 43 kms on it already?

You can work out whether it's a 1.2 or 1.3 from the serial number. Never heard of 1.8.

Was the motor replaced as part of warranty? if so its not irregular to get a reconditioned unit.

A comp should have originally had the 1.2e motor.

If they've upgraded, they might have changed that to the 1.3 motor (Drive S).

If you run Mission Control you should see the motor serial number.

1.2e motors begin with E22243

1.3 motors begin with C972

There have been some exceptions on swapouts where 1.2T (Drive T) motors have been installed, I think these begin with C911.

The 1.2T is slightly more powerful than the 1.2e, but not as powerful as the 1.3.

Ok checked the serial number and it is a 1.3 - Took my bike for a test ride and when I came back home the meter reading no longer said 43 km it now said 23 km which was my ride. So not sure why it said 43 km in the first place. I am super stoked with my lbs for all the work they put into my bike - I had trouble with Rosenburg plug and intermittent cut outs with the motor and remote not always turning on. result - new motor, new speed sensor, new Rosenburg plug, new remote. All under warranty. Such a sweet ride. And can't recommend specialized enough, they really took care of me.
