Is this normal

Hi guys,
just bought a new wild Fs M-team, and noticed a notch on the non drive side by the rear axle, see pic, is this normal or is it damaged?

I wonder if it was a demo bike or just happened during assembly?

It's damage. The paint is too thick and brittle around pivots and such. I have the same kinds of damage on my Levo.

Ironically I’m told by the lbs that all Orbea have this notch…hummm
