Hello!
I recently found a bike when I was taking a ride, I am almost 100% certain that its stolen due to the fact that the frame number has been removed as well as its been completely covered in new paint.
I've handed it over to the police but Im still curious what type of bike it is?
It looks like a specialized to me but I cant figure out which exact model? anyone know?

It might be a dengfu ( fm 026)
I don't think it's that. I wondered if it was something Chinese but couldn't find a match.

It's a bit of an unusual trail bike, nice wheels and forks but what's going on what the front brake hose ?! Carbon Frame, ally rear triangle. Very strange linkage angles/positions.

What about the front brake hose?
You'd normally run the front hose forwards, then effectively down the inside edge of the fork so it's protected and doesn't catch on things and between the fork/wheel to the caliper. On the unknown stealth bike, it runs around the headstock, round the back of the fork and over the brace then down to the caliper. So when you turn right and the hose tightens up it will be pulled towards the tyre and rub on it.

It looks like someone installed the fork with the brace forwards, realised it was wrong and just span it round the right way and didn't re-route the hose.

You are right. Didnt even think about that. Makes me think that the bike is made with some off brand frame by someone who almost knows what theyre doing.
