Is it possible to buy new motors directly from Bosch?

I was just wondering, if its possible to say buy a CX gen 4 motor directly from Bosch? Or maybe the bike manufacturer (Focus)?
For example, if the bike is out of warranty and the motor fails, do i have any recourse at all? Or is the bike suddenly useless?

Not sure whether bosch would just sell you one direct , but if your bike was out of warranty and you take it to a bosch dealer that bosch dealer will fix it for you for a price, and if the fix involves a new motor then so be it.

Just because you cant buy new motors from chain reaction or other internet bike shop doesnt mean you cant get a new motor when your warranty has run out, you almost certainly will be able to, but just not in the same way as buying a new bottom bracket.
