As has been covered in other threads, battery degradation with resultant reduced range can be a problem. The battery in my Rail is almost four years old and has been recharged twice a week on average over that period. In this past month I have run out of battery twice on rides I do regularly so I am thinking "new battery". My question is "does the new battery have to be programmed or is it simply plug & play?"
