The SL now looks like this. I got a offer I couldn't refuse. So I'm down to 1 Levo now.☹️ I pulled most of the trick parts off. Carbon wheels, XTR/XT drivetrain, Fox Float and X2 suspension. I left XT single piston brakes and carbon bars. I don't have the stock wheels, so the buyer gets DT Swiss 1900 wheels. I was surprised at the new weight.

Nice build. No pedals for that weight or is that with the 500Wh battery? I've not been able to get mine down that low even with RS fork and shock which is couple hundred grams overall lighter than the 38 and fox shock.

Still happy😊 That's a more realistic weight. It's a cheap scale.

That's still really good. At that weight a similar spec'd Rise alloy is probably 2 pounds lighter with a much smaller battery and 2/3rd the power. I got very close to buying a Rise alloy but totally happy with the carbon Levo. I'm running an insert now with the stock Roval wheels because I keep denting them. Need to get a better and lighter wheelset, which should get me mid-48 pound compared to 50 right now.

I know people like to say full fat ebike owners shouldn't be concerned with weight but lugging it around, loading on a bike rack, etc., on a still-healing torn AC joint says differently. Every little bit also means more potential battery life and longer range as well. Weight always matters depending on your point of view.

Yeah IronScott those alloy Roval rims are a little soft. Inserts are the way to go. I probably saved a little over 1lb. with the wheels. But weight wasn't my concern. With a heavy bike I wanted something that will track at speed. Carbon rims do that. I dropped a little more weight with carbon bars and a lighter stem.

Those wheels look good! I also like the protective tape you put on the top tube and stays. (I'm assuming it's protective tape?). I added some clear tape to the key areas most likely to be scratched. I've done the full Ride Wrap but I'm just doing my own on all my bikes now. Much cheaper and can reapply as needed.

The AXS and XT brakes might have saved some grams. Forgot about that. Another reason for new wheels was wider rims. It spreads the tire out a little more and makes a big difference. I went with a 32mm internal width. Roval alloy rims are 30mm which I think is the minimum. Check the photo, left 31mm internal, right 25mm.
