The hobby as a whole seems to have died off since last time I was doing it. Half the clubs there used to be here on the south coast. Spares and hop ups are not as readily available because of less demand. I’ve got mainly off road stuff now and take it to the local skate park which also has a dirt jump section. The rock crawlers come out when I take the dogs for a walk. Would ideally like to find a proper rock crawler course to take them to.
I raced 1/10th 2wd and 4wd buggies, mostly indoor on carpet tracks. Now I just do the bashing thing since there’s nowhere to race. I have a Kraton 6s, outcast 8s, x-Maxx and Maxx. Both of the Arrma cars have every part M2C racing offers so they’re pretty much indestructible. I still can’t get over how much Castle motors/ESCs cost here though, they’re twice the price as the US! I’ve had my dad ship me 3 motors/ESCs already.

I've not done much biking for a while
60 miles a week to and from work a few times..

Weekend has seen me rediscover my carp fishing hobby I had until 1997..98..

£400 to set up and been about 6 times..
Thoroughly enjoyable 😉

I was taught how to do the Epley back when I was in Dubai. I’ve had it done multiple times, it sometimes works when I’m having a vertigo attack but it’s hit and miss. My wife and I took the kids to one of the local farm parks earlier, I drove and when I got out of the car I felt like I was on a boat. It’s pretty miserable, pretty much ruins the day for me.
My brother feels similarly miserable for few months an one on in NHS could help. After spending time with Google I've done Epley Maneuver on him 2-3 times fallowing this YouTube guide:

It's completely fine, happy since (it passed more than a year now).

I know you tried it already, but give it a go few times as it's free, non invasive- just moving head around for few mins.

End offtop

Shooting in UK can be cheap and fun. There is many clubs here and each one is quite unique and with different vibe. Maybe worth reconsider?

There is also archery or crossbow shooting and whole medieval crafts things. Plenty of clubs about that.

I would mention motorcycle, but of you feeling dizzy that would be no go...

Racing games was mentioned already. You don't need VR - you can play using screen - worth to visit someone with nice setup to give it a go as this is fun! From WRC, slowly hill crawling, truck riding to F1. And having force feedback wheel can make you sweat. It's something I do over winter.

There is also real off-road - that can be relatively cheap (green lining) to very expensive (full off-road and going int mood...) - depends of your risk taking approach.

Archery! How could I have forgotten to recommend archery? I gave it a bloody good go before I got into mtb. I was progressing through the distance medals and was thinking about buying my own bow. Then some vandals set fire to the clubhouse. There was nothing of value in that wooden shack; all the valuable stuff was in a steel container nearby. But the radiant heat from the fire roasted the contents of the container. All the bows, arrows, butts and other kit was all scrap. No insurance of course. Then I had a go at mtb.
