They said is not his market ... Spe guys, but XC is the biggest market!

Makes no sense a engine in XC ... so does it in road bikes? Plenty of them!

Lot of people are going by the fireroads and mellow trails with 22kgs 150mm 66 Levos etc ... do them a favor

An XC with the Creo has the potential to be the most “universal” ebike ever. You can take the XC label out if you want, just made a bike for the huge amount of people that just cruise with the bike, with a motor, even more enjoyable and with the Creo still on the natural feelings. Even lighter than the SL more friendly geometry

But Spe need to be wise with the price in this move, keep a real affordable version. Universal ebikes also means universal prices.

What do you think mates? If someone can made it, is Specialized.

Regards

A Levo S-Worx SL with lighter tyres and the fork/shock set-up stiffer (higher psi)
would be absolutely fine as an XC bike
hardly rocket science is it?

There are E Gravel bikes out there lighter than the LevoSL

eg.

Ribble CGR AL e - Grey

Fit flat bars and an "S" sticker and XC yourself silly ;)

Well, will be better if the bike came ready to go.

I don’t know how the story goes there in North Europe, but here in the South, XC is by far the most popular bikes.

I know a huge amount of people that has buy a bike, they like to ride, but they don’t have time to train. You need to be fit to do nice routes and enjoy. At the end they leave the bike because they get boring and tired the next of the week.

Men, I’m sure, its just a matter of time, the brand that can achieve hit the key market with an ”XC” bike that feels natural is going to made a lot of money. And now Spe is cleary that one for me. Both stuff and marketing.

Lets be honest e-bikes are the future, XC bikes are the most popular, it’s his destiny meet each other.

Just wear your most garish euro Lycra on the Eeb and I'm sure you'll fit in just fine with the Spanish XC crowd.

Since the Enduro epidemic XC mtb seems to have pretty much died in the UK for general punters (ie. not athletes). Endurance mtb still seems pretty popular though.

I actually like XC... I don't need an XC bike to do it though.

Specialized made a hard tail short travel levo back in 07 so they know it doesn't sell.

Lets face it, we have someone who has ridden the ul telling us it has similar range capabilities and adequate power yet the keyboard warriors want more wattevers and fatter knobs.

Like I said you can take the XC label out if you want.

Im talking more about a ebike for everybody. From Schurters wannabes to casual riders to nature explores.

Ebikes are overkill, this SL fix a bit the weight problem, that could be even lower in a “XC” ebike. Then you only need a more friendly geometry.

The focus Raven ebike is still a hardtail with a weaker Fazua, the less agressive ebikes are either also hardtail or heavy.

This concept reminds me the Gripshift from S Ram and many other stuff, it’s now new, but until S Ram nailed it was an exotic fail and now is a must.

Ebikes and XC are so big waves in the bikes market, is impossible they ain’t go to mix anytime ...

You do talk some amount of shite mate

Really? I don’t think that amount.

To me makes sense. With the heavier motor battery combos, an “XC” was a bit more complicated to do, but with this new lighter from Spe, time to time mate ... we got e-trail e-enduro e-road and even e-gravel, do you think e-xc is that crazy? In fact is so strange theres is no exc now that I’m about to think they are keeping it as the final e-bomb market.

No. I don't

It already exists. And doesn't really sell. Certainly not in comparison to any Spesh Emtb

Where? I only know the Raven as a lightweight XC

Told you, many things were no business back then and now is the next big thing.

The biggest trend and the bigger market will collide more sooner or later, is almost maths ...

The canyon neuron and focus thron are aimed towards Xc.... Sure the weight will drop in the future.

Thats what I’m saying. The Raven is HT and the Fazua is weaker than the Mahle. The focus and the Canyon are heavy ... the one with the tools to polish the concept is now Spe
