Hi all, im Tony and i am new to all this E-biking but i have rode the Kenevo, the Levo, Ktm Kapoho and ive been testing the Vitus E sommet all this week, im keen to get an E soon but am unsure about which one to go for, i did like the Specialized's lack of drag after 16mph BUT don't like the 5+ grand price tag  hopefully all your collective knowledge will help me with my choice (y)

Welcome .....ive been looking at the ebikes for a while came here to learn and narrow down my choices unfortunately my choices have extended ???....obviously price plays a big part also. Am in no rush though and I keep reading and going back and forth.
I did sort of decide on the brose motor due to its quiet running but that could change.

Hope you find what your looking for

Hey Tony, you can get a Levo Comp or the new Kenevo Comp for around 4k. Still a lot of spondoolies, but absolutely worth it.

Happy hunting, let us know how the journey of choice goes.

Cheers Dave, i just hope i make the right choice and not blow a ton of ££££ on a mistake

You can't really go far wrong, members on here own various makes and models of bikes and pretty much everyone is happy with their lot. Just get the right 'type' of ebike for your needs - hard tail, hybrid, full sus-long/medium travel (DH/XC) etc.
And ask plenty of questions on the forum, stacks of good advice here. (y)

Some good offers on ex-demo Trek here- Search Results Page

Cool beans. I have asked to join the group. Should be moving around November time.
It's going to be weird being back on the plain after being amongst the Shropshire hills

In the same boat as you ... I was looking at speccy but didn't like the lack of info on the handle bar ... tried out a trek powerfly but that had a Bosch motor which I wanted to avoid due to the reported drag issue ... I tested a Scott e genius 710 and loved it so will be making my purchase of that bike hopefully end of this month ... it isn't cheap tho o_O

Yeah from what I've been told the Bosch motors are very good and powerful but noisy and the drag is an issue ... I looked at brose powered bikes but decided to go with the Scott which is Shimano powered ... I think Shimano are the leaders as in sales so there should be no probs with spares or repairs ... which ever bike you choose please add a pic for all to see (y)(y)
