hi,
I have a Cube Reaction Hybrid Race 625 with Magicshine 906s headlamp and the correct cable to connect to the Bosch Gen 4 CX aux port, professionally fitted by 99 bikes here in Australia. I found "ebike mode" in 906s users manual, which seems to work great at night, but I have been unable to switch into DRL (daytime running light) mode. In "bike mode" I can enter DRL mode no problem. Also, I can use a different cable and connect to the Magicshine battery, and all is well in bike mode. I expect that however this is done, is similar for other Magicshine headlamps including 900 and 902 models. Or is that why I see so many guys on the rail trail in broad daylight with blinding headlamp on? DRL would be quite okay for battery consumption being just 35 lumens compared to 1800 minimum in night mode / ebike mode. BTW the headlamp has been awesome while connected to battery but now that I have a decent size ebike battery I made the switch.
