How to back date firmware on shimano e8000

Hi guys

Can anyone please provide a step by step guide on how to back date firmware on shimano e8000 motor currently running version 4.7.1

i have a apple device with the etube app but cant figure out how to do it, some people say its possible on ios device and they have done it and other says its not.

i want to downgrade to 4.3.2 to allow the limiters to he adjusted. I have confirmed this is possible with my setup i just cant figure out how to do it.

do i require a laptop to do it?
I have a apple iphone x or ipad to do it on, my ebike, shimano e tube app and stunlocker app.

Just Google on "downgrade shimano steps firmware" and you will find a step by step guide made by eMax.
You only need to buy, borrow or rent a Shimano PCE1/ PCE2 interface.

Just download the firmware you want and rename to the latest, e tube will install thinking it's the latest version.
