How do I remove this freewheel

I'm trying to remove a freewheel from my bike. Not sure how to do this.

If I put a punch in the holes (Blue arrow) and rotate that cover anti-clockwise it enables you to see a bit inside, but the body of the freewheel does not come off.

There is also a flat edge to get a spanner on (Red arrow) and can turn that whilst holding the other side of the wheels axel, but it just turns, does not unscrew.

Not sure how else to get the thing off.

Have a read of this thread, I think @Mikerb explains it;

OK got it off.

On the opposite side of the wheel is a little collar that pulls of and then you can see a 12mm internal hex socket. With an Allan key in that side and turning the end of the freewheel clockwise it came off.

Thanks for all the help.
