How accurate is the "my power" measurement on bosch gen 4 cx?

When I'm pedalling along I have the Kiox display showing the "my power" measurement, and it shows some pretty high numbers, they seem implausibly high to me, but I've never used a power meter so I have no clue whether theyre accurate or not.

Does anyone know how accurate these figures really are?

Found this thread when I was looking for ANT+ support from the Kiox so I can get power/speed/cadence on my cyclecomputer. I guess it doesn't support that. It's really annoying that I have to double up on sensors for no good reason.

Anyway, I have a pair of Favero Assiomas which are reputed to be extremely accurate. I'll put them on soon and share what I find.

Out of curiosity, does the Kiox have a way to upload playback data? DC Rainmaker is supposed to have a tool where you can compare data from different sensors on overlaid graphs. That would be even better than me verbalizing what I find.

No- the kiox doesnt support broadcasting data , so you cant get it on your computer.

The kiox can record a ride and store it using the bosch ebike connect app running on your phone , but I dont think it records all the different parameters that it can display like power, cadence etc . BUt I have to say I havent played with it much because the app is so terrible.

Interested to hear how the kiox my power numbers compare to the power figures from your pedals.

Ok, just got back from my ride. I can't eliminate the possibility of leading edge and trailing edge errors, but the steady state numbers were good.

When the Garmin/Assioma is steady enough that the 3 second filter matches the instantaneous power, it matches the Kiox to within a few watts (about 1-2%).
