Temperatures still rising here .. 42 ish in Brittany, France.

Was curious about surface temperatures as the Sun feels particularly intense today ..

The house is getting super baked with 60+ degrees ..

And ground temperatures upto 76c out of the shade ! No wonder things combust !

its true, I lived with a load of them in my 20's and I would have to leave the house in hot weather to find them frothing at the mouth kerbside or cowering from the great light in the sky.. it was ok though as they could usually be lured out of hiding or awakened from malady by pictures of sheep or waving a castle lager under their nose..

I'd have thought Uk would love 39C, no need to go abroad when Cornwall and even the Cumbrian coast would be the same. I would have done growing up there. A couple of adaptations like we have in Australia and it would be perfect.

Does that work for you ? I seemed to have likes from women who were too good to be true, so I assumed they were fake. Women who were older than my mother with pictures which should never have been approved. Only found one who liked me who seemed "normal" .. She suggested meeting at a beach .. it turned out to be a nudist beach !! Oh well .. needs must and all that.

The next time she suggested an evening apéro on the beach ... I checked, not the same beach .. Phew .. I should bring the cold wine and food.

It was another nudist beach !!!! It didn't seem to be going too bad until the whole contents of my wrap slid out and landed in my groin .. That sort of thing just doesn't normally happen She didn't seem keen on helping so I had to go for a swim.
