Horrible motor noise 2020 kenevo

This noise just started on a ride today, has done 300km on 2020 kenevo expert. Have a big remote ride planned tomorrow. Should I be concerned. Maybe I should dust off the old analog bike... video of noise in link.

It only does it when the motor is on and assisting. That was my first thought also.

If it's not that ... then it's not a sound which inspires confidence ....

You'd imagine if is was one of the inner motor drive cogs that the "click, click" sound would be faster.. It sounds a bit like pedal creak/crank creak/chainring clicky .. that sort of thing (on the video anyway).

Is it the same in walk mode ?

Mine was making a weird clicky sound, but that was chain stretch erroding the chainring and causing the chain to hook up and click off.


Yours doesn't sound the same, but the frequency of clicks seems similar...
