16 months ago I got my first MTB (Specialized Epic Alloy Comp 2018) and it changed my life forever, then 5 months ago I got my first Specialized Turbo Levo Comp 2019, and it changed my life again! ?
I’m almost 47, feeling like 17 when riding my Levo. I still have my Epic, and ride it at least once a week to do XC. But for climbing high mountains and trails I wear my Levo ?⚡️?.
Incredibly, after the first couple of months that I rode only my Levo, I tried climbing non-stop to the top a mountain with my Epic (something I hadn’t been able to do before), and I was able to achieve it, so my training on the EMTB had actually improved my physical skills and not only my technique. Of course I ride my Levo a lot in Eco mode (factory default plus shuttle mode 100%), I have now lowered Eco assistance to 25%/35% peak power, to keep improving my physical strengt.

Happy riding, and hope to learn and contribute to this great forum!

I bet you went to the mountains of Ecuador, I live by the Coast, so the mountains are less visible, but still we manage to find great challenges to climb and downhill. ?

Please post pictures!!
These are some pictures from the places I ride on my Levo. These hills and trails are 15 minutes (drive) away from the city where I live.

Those pictures are fantastic ! Where you ride is so different to where I ride in England, yet I feel there is something in common in the experience we all have. I can't put my finger on it exactly. Maybe it is an escape or an appreciation of our surroundings or whatever . Whatever it is , it is truely wonderful. Please post more pictures of your rides . Pasa bien siempre

You’re so right, I also think what we all share is that escape and the appreciation of the surroundings that we, especially the city people don’t get to experience so often. I love being present and being able to move myself so many kilometers just using my bike. In short, I identify with a slogan that says “not an ordinary life”. ✌????
