I live in the middle of nowhere in France and have been whizzing up and down tracks and trails in this region for quite a few years. The trails range from steep to very steep and narrow to very narrow. Underwheel, it's stones, rocks, roots and dust, subject to the weather. This year, I find that I just can't keep up with the others (I mean, some aren't even 55!) so I've invested in a BMC speed fox 3, with a Shimano E8020 motor. It's a great bike, but the motor is really noisy...I'm assured that this is just the model...any comments?
