Finally bit the bullet...... despite stocks of new bikes being low and low mileage secondhand eMTB’s being almost non existent, managed to buy a Scott E Scale with 39 miles on it at an very good price.
So far very happy with it and it does what it says on the tin. Great forum, I’ll be asking lots of daft newbie questions.... Happy eMTBing.
