I just wanted to say Hi as a newbie to the forum who lives on the edge of the New Forest.

I have just ordered a 2020 Levo comp although its not here yet but I'm no stranger to off road bikes both motor and pedal powered. These range from Motocross bikes (I raced a couple of CR500's), I also had a muddy fox when proper mountain bikes were quite new (late 80's ish).

I currently ride a Husqvarna FE350, a R1250GS and a Specialized Crosstrail hybrid and am really looking forward to the new addition to the family.

I have already ordered a shock pump and a FRX mudhugger to fit to the rear to protect the back of the motor, I'm also doing lots of research on all the things that I didn't know I needed until now.

So, what are the essential bits that I didn't know I needed for my new Taupe Turbo Levo Comp??

A map. On an e-bike you will go further and faster than before, so be prepared to explore. NF is known for a pretty shit attitude to cyclists though, so I'd head outside the national park.

To carry with you;
Decent multi tool, preferably with a chain tool
Spare mech hanger
Tyre leavers
Spare inner tube (I put about 150ml of slime in mine)
Some spare chain links
Quick link
Pump

if you breakdown a long way from home you‘ll need stuff to get you rolling again, so the foregoing list is by no means exhaustive.
