I am 64 and new to e-mtb. I decided to move over to e-mountainbiking to be able to keep on mountainbiking in more hilly area's. I have just ordered a Focus Thron 6.8 that will be delivered next week. I also own a OnOne Inbred 29er mtb and still do some road and gravelbiking.

Actually when I was a ski instructor in Austria, I worked with a couple of Dutch instructors. We naturally gave them a hard time about the Dutch Alps.

....huge mountains here......but on last years holiday near Alpe d'huez I decided that an e-mtb next to my (non-e) roadbike could be nice to do some offroad exploring.

I was actually in doubt to move up to 6.9 because of the fork upgrade. Does the RS Rekon works well enough on light trails?

I’m new to all this to be honest, so have nothing to compare it to. The bikes abilities are far higher than mine, and so far I’m very happy with it.
