Hi, this is Guillem, from Spain, southern Valencia, northern Alicante provinces, I've been riding bikes for as long as I can remember, but serious mtb for at least 15 years and started emtb for just over 2 years now, and I love it, since I've moved back to my home town after living in northern spain for 10 years, the terrain here in my home area is very rocky, loose and dry with lots of steep, tech climbs so ebike paradise for some, if someone is in the area or wants to come (this is a very touristic destination) and wants to get some must rides around, please be welcome to DM me and we can organise some nice rides in the area. I'm on my second ebike, I started with a trek rail 9, I teste rode a rail from a friend and instantly felt at home, so I went for one, 2 years and 0 issues, I sold it to a friend and I went thru the entire bike, and I was gladly surprised because I didn't do much to the bike in 2 years and 3000km, only consumables (tyres, brake pads, etc...), and the bike was completely flawless, no play, no stuck or sticky bearings, and the bike has been trashed in pretty rough terrain, plus I'm a 90kg guy with a pretty aggro style, but decided I needed a more capable bike, when I bought the rail I was still living in the north, where the terrain is not that chunky, but I was suffering some back pain just riding 25km 1300m routes, just because the roughness of the trails here, now I own a canyon strive on, and it was amazing, I did 60+ km 2000m rides with still some battery left, and no more back pain, but like many others, I'm having issues with the battery latching mechanism, its waiting for dhl to be picked up for a warranty repair, if you want more details, head over to the specific thread.
