Hi, I'm new to the forum and in my second season with my TREK Powerfly FS8 2017. I bought it used last year. It was a bike from rental fleet. It was in very good shape and came with a full year warranty. I paid almost $2000 less than a new one.
I didn't rode mountain bike before. My background is more from motorcycles. I raced motocross, enduro and I'm still riding trial motorcycle.
I found emtb a bit like single track enduro motorcycling. But it's quite different. Unlike motorcycle, you have to manage the pedals position and when to use them or not. Also on jump, it's very different because of the weight distribution and power. So now in my second season, I'm starting to be more comfortable on my emtb at speed and on jumps.
