Hi,
I live in Cuernavaca, Morelos. It's in the Mexican highlands an hour south of Mexico City.
I'm new here and happy to find this site. I'm sure I'll glean a lot of good useful information from my fellow ebikers.
Being 72, I thought I'd buy my first ebike (2020 Turbo Levo). I found this site through Rob Rides' Youtube video on the BLEvo app. (great video by the way).
I had to part with my Scott hardtail. My wife said I had too many, but get this... she has FIVE! I did manage to keep my Specialized Epic, which I'm still attached to. Who knows... I may feel the same way about the Levo in a few months.
Rode for the first time last weekend and put on 23km with 1850 feet of vertical. I was surprised that I had 8 bars left (out of 10). I was trying to conserve the battery, because I didn't want to walk out of the woods. haha
I've now installed the BLEvo app and I'm working on configuring the heart rate component so that I ride and maintain a certain heart rate when I'm alone and not with a group. They seem to want to ride fast, and I'm OK with that, but I do want to ride the ebike and do cardio workouts at a lesser heart rate some of the time.
