Hi All New here i have a 2020 Merida E160 8000, I fancy a bit more braking power i am considering swapping the standard 4 pot slx Brakes for Magura MT7 just wondered if they would be a big improvement stopping my 90kg Mass + the Bike ?

Welcome along here. I just went for a Hope 220mm rotor on my 2019 e160 900e. It has the Shimano Saint brakes which I would have to rate as awesome and didn't really need any more stopping power. The bigger rotor gives me a little more feel and looks like bling to me. Even managed to find a cheapo Snail brand look-a-like 200mm rotor for the rear.
