I'm 3 weeks in to this eMTB thing, with a Santa Cruz Heckler MX. Super pleased with the fun factor of the eBike. I'm in Southern California and flat or even flat-ish trails are non existent. Last evening's ride around Pt. Mugu gave up 3 tarantulas, and one tarantula hawk and a couple of hills I've always had to hike a bike on previous rides. Super stoked.

Welcome. I'm also from SoCal, but a little more south. Last year I rode for a couple days up in your neighborhood. One day was around Rice Canyon in Ojai, the next was Arroyo Burro and Camuesa outside Santa Barbara. You have a lot of fun stuff in your area.
