hi!

some absolute twot decided to throw a bunch of metal wires on the pavement (went for food, weren't there, came back, there.)

and with them being thin and pretty much the same colour as the pavement, I did not see them

One of them worked its way into my rear derailleur, twisted around, and snapped the inside cage within about 2 seconds (just enough time for me to notice something was wrong and stop)

luckily, nothing else is damaged, just that inside cage, MAYBE the cogs, and maybe the screw

so what i've done is ordered this

anyone with any technical knowledge tell me if this is going to fit?

it looks the same to me, and says gx

thanks!

GX Eagle is 12 speed. Your derailleur is GX 11speed. Jockey wheels on the 11 speed are each the same size. On the Eagle one is bigger than the other. Look for the same kit but for a GX 11 speed.

If this ends up not working I'll be buying a new gx, shame that parts aren't really available by themselves, but understandable why I guess xD if only I had a 3d printer

New mech would be the best bet
If only I had the money for that I'd have bought it straight away :p the bike drained all my savings

I can get one in about 2 weeks though if necessary, until then it does work, just not ideally
