Hi I have a cube stereo hybrid 140 race
I want to put a rear light on this bike but struggling as the seat post is down a lot the wheel is 29” and if I mount on the seat camp area it won’t be seen so I decided to put it on the top of the frame on the rear arm but my problem is I can’t find any light fitting to attach to the bike frame so if are aware of anything please let me know
The tubing is also a strange shape so round ones won’t fit IMG_9034.jpeg

Some of the high intensity flashing lights are very directional, so be aware that mounting at an angle might not have the effect you are looking for.

Yeah thanks that’s why I really need a light that can be adjusted vertically

Some folks put a light on the back of their helmets. Others put lights on their Camelbaks.

My only suggestion is to forget about the lights when doing real mountain bike rides. Backward facing lights in the wilderness can be blinding to anyone following, and won't make you a lot of friends.

Whenever on the road, in order to eliminate the chance of a SMIDSY plea, we attached Cateye Viz 150 tail lights to the seat rails using CatEye RM-1 Saddle Rail Mounts.

If I was to ride my MTB bike in traffic I would want to be seen. Attaching a red rear facing light can be obscured by the tire, fender or tool pouch. For the amount of time I ride in traffic, which is rarely, I would invest in a helmet that has rear facing red lights. The only time I would ever use this type of helmet would be in vehicle traffic.
