What’s up dudes? I’m about to buy my first eMTB and I have a couple questions. To start I’m 6’4 185 lbs with a 34” inseam. I’m new to the MTB world, but have ridden road bikes most of my life along with motocross. I currently ride a XL Trek Marlin 5, which isn’t cutting it. I recently moved to Grand County CO and split my time between Granby Ranch and Winter Park Trestle (80/20 in favor of GR). My budget is $6,000 and I’d like to buy a new Specialized as it’s the only major brand carried in the County (Icebox Mountain Sports).

First question relates to sizing. Is there a big difference between the Kenevo XL and the Levo XXL? The website says Kenevo S5 is 5’10-6’4, whereas the Levo S6 is 6’2-6’8. Will I comfortably fit on both bikes? I personally would prefer the additional travel of the Kenevo, but not at the sacrifice of comfort.

Second question relates to the battery. Both come with a 500Wh battery, is it possible to upgrade both bikes to a 700Wh? If so, how much do those run?

Third question relates to the warranty. Does specialized back their product? I was sold on Canyon/YT bikes until I read how shit their warranty process is.

My final question would be if I really need 180mm of travel of Granby Ranch/Trestle? Is the Kenevo overkill for what I’ll be riding?

Any input is highly appreciated! Thanks!

Regarding size, it's a personal preference but I'm 6' on a levo s4 any taller I'd go s5. Go test ride them.

Levo will do everything you want and more, IMHO.

Warranty on Specialized is two years and most importantly that covers the motor. Huge bonus.

im 6'1 and S4 (large) is my size but while I can ride the S5, its too big.

the warranty seems to vary between countries, in the UK we have several excellent specialized dealers and between my 2 levo's I think ive had 4 motors and they were all replaced while I waited, none of this waiting months for sending back to Germany etc etc that other brands seem to have. I am often temped by other bikes that offer better value for money bikes but I would rather have that spesh warranty.
you can buy a new battery, check in your country but here its £1200 for a 700wh.
no idea between levo and kenevo for you but the levo is a capable bike and the Gen3 has the adjustable geo if youre just looking to go slacker etc.
