Just recently took possession of my Haibike Allmtn 3 2022 model.
I was supposed to get a bike for my 50th birthday (currently 52.6) but had a bad football injury resulting in 4 major operations on my knee and thigh over the last 2.6 years (last op was August 2022). I tried to get back on my hard tail but it was too painful which resulted in me getting an emtb….OMG!! My wife told me to just go round the block, like a kid at Xmas with a new bike. I did this and realised I could ride with no pain. Next day I did 40 miles looping through technical and downhill’ish terrain. You couldn’t wipe the smile of my face. However, I had to be careful not to put my foot down. Anyway, ITS THE BEST THING EVER!! It’s true what they say about E-Bikes…further, faster, longer and higher. I love it. I’m also quite lucky where I live….I have the north downs a stones throw away to my left and the Ash ranges an even shorter stones throw to my right
Ps. I was initially surprised at the weight but soon realised how much more planted it makes the bike in tight and twisty corners. It also makes for great handling overall..
