Hey all! I’ve had my levo for a couple of years now and just bought a second one for the missus. Mine is a 2017 with the 460wh battery. I am considering upgrading to the 500wh battery. Is this worthwhile?

Unless you could sell your 460, or you wanted the 500 to use on rides and took the 460 with you for a huge increase in range, then the 500 would give you less than 10% extra range for quite a high financial outlay.

It would probably make more sense to put the money to one side and use it if you ever consider changing the bike and just enjoy the bikes you have now as you have them

Dont thiink the change from a 460 to 500 is going to yield that big of a diff. Now, a 700 would be the ticket!

Good advice thanks guys. I’ll give it a miss and do some other upgrades instead.
Do they make a 700 to fit an older Levo? Only the 500’s are available on the specialized website.

Yeah spec only do the 700 on the 2019 & later 29er levo models unfortunately.
