New to this site as I'm new to having an E bike. I'm not new to MTBing though, a group of us in the late 60's early 70's used to make old bone shakers into what is now called a mountain bike with knobbly tyres and cow horn handle bars. We used to ride and pray the bikes would survive the local hills. Most of them did. Contrary to popular belief and not wishing to offend, but the concept was only commercialized recently.
