Evening all....just ordered a trek rail 5, should be picking it up on Friday or Saturday. Will be my first e-bike, and I can't wait. I had one on demo from Trek last week and loved it so order one. Anyway, I mostly ride Willey, Machen, risca, Cwm carn and around that area so give me a shout if you fancy going out for a ride......I need new riding buddies as all mine are stuck in the dark ages on non e-bikes.

im miles from you i reckon, near Llandovery but ride regular in crychan and around the beacons

first time ebiker here too, collected my cube stereo this week still not made it to a trail as yet, i work in risca but from up the deep dark valleys ;-) enjoy the bike may catch you on a trail at cwm carn come spring

I find Cwmcarn holds up really well with all the rain....been going there more myself recently.

hah that odds of that eh? that was indeed me, perhaps you then missed where i spent 15 minutes trying to work out how to get it in the back of the car they a long bike eh haha , yes buddy for sure would defo appreciate a riding buddy for a sunday outing some point ;-) nice one

Yeah there's definitely a knack to it.....I take the front wheel of and kind of slide it in back wheel first.

I'm waiting on a covid test result so no go for me tomorrow....... Next time though. Shame as the weather is looking good.

Very kind buddy literally just back from my first e bike ride , everything soaking and or muddy so hopefully out Friday now , wow tho wow what a weapon , my technique was non existent! Just smashed through everything ( novelty value ) but it rolled through or ever pretty much everything I’m impressed ?

Hahaha I didn’t but I felt like I could have , you know the huge thick muddy puddles that suck and can stop a mountain bike dead in it’s tracks from
10mph lol powered straight thru haha think I’m Gona enjoy ebikes ??

Hey dude, yeah shame we didn't get to ride before lockdown..... Hopefully it eases soon and we can arrange something. I was up Cwmcarn yesterday actually...... Bloody cold
