Hey all, no ebike yet but having spent hours watching vids I'm sold on the idea. My issue is with the price as I'm sure it is for many. I've toyed with the idea of using a bafang kit to keep costs down but finding a frame that would work well with it and be as good as I would like it to be is proving difficult which leads me to look at the second hand market which brings up concerns over reliability and no warranty. Is it a wise idea to buy used or should I just keep saving and get a new one? I've read that people have had to replace a motor after only a few months riding and with a lack of warranty it could end up more expensive than it's worth. Any input would be greatly appreciated.
