Close then I’m in Whaley BridgeWelcome, I'm in Hayfield, the other side of the Peaks. Lots of great places to ride..?
Loads round Castleton.Derbyshire riders , I’m staying over in Castleton in November , what’s the local trails ?
"CutGate can be a bit soggy"......bit of an understatement! Its a challenging climb in places...very rocky. However you have the satisfaction of riding all the way to the top whilst mtbers are mostly pushing and the views are stunning.
I’m only just down the road from you and keen to meet up with others so long as they can ride with the old man!Had my Specialized turbo Levo 2020 fsr for a few weeks now, just returning to mtb, got a bit of a dickie knee so the ebike is great for me. Live in ilkeston Derbyshire so near to Peak District and looking to get out there soon. View attachment 20158

I did Jacobs Ladder last year and walked 1/2 of it..;-) I've no idea how folks ride down it at speed, mad..!I have never ridden any trails in Derbyshire really so I’ll for any adventure when we can but nothing too difficult as I’m an oldie
