Hi there,
I'm a 57 yr old who has enjoyed mountain biking for years. I recently got dealt a devastating blow when I was diagnosed with an incurable heart condition meaning normal mtb'ing is out for good.
I decided to get a bit of assistance by way of a Voodoo Bizango e-bike and wow, what a difference. I can now go places I never could before. A new lease of life for sure.
I do have a question... The bizango has 3 modes, eco, trail and boost.
It might be just me, but there is no noticeable difference between eco and trail, but a huge difference between trail and boost.. Is the motor faulty??
Any comments welcome.
Mick.

Great to hear you've found a solution to keep cycling. If you don't get many replies here you might try reposting in the Shimano section as your bike uses the Shimano E7000 motor and SC-E700 display. (I'm presuming it's new).

Eco is set to a certain assistance level - you can change the setting with the shimano app or stunlocker. For a lot of people it's set too high by default.

Turbo is similar, but will be set to 100% assistance by default, so you don't have to pedal particularly hard.

Trail is "dynamic" and will vary the assistance it gives based more on how much effort you're putting in. Once you get used to it, you'll probably just leave it in Trail as you should notice that when you pedal hard it should start providing similar assistance to Turbo.

Ah I see.
Thanks for your reply. I'll have a look at the Shimano App.
New to these e-bikes but very impressed by the difference it has made to me.
